Focused at the intersection of affordable multifamily housing and clean energy, EEFA works to enhance access and resources for low-income families. Shannon supports the program by administering grants, enhancing strategy development, and managing the program budget. Shannon also coordinates grant renewals, and communicates with grantees, funders, and EEFA national partners.
Prior to joining the Energy Foundation, Shannon conducted research in Scotland on the relationship between air and water quality and human health. She also held different roles at Greenpeace USA, where she served first as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) intern leading organization-wide diversity and equity training and policy development, then in a funder-facing role as a donor relations representative, where she helped improve donor retention.
